Dear RAF,
my name is Jack Moxom and I am a proud holder of the electromagnet badge. I have been studying science for three years now at the London Nautical School. I am writing to inform you about an experiment I have been doing about the speed of a paper helicopter take to hit the floor from 1 metre. I think this experiment will help you land our helicopters safely.
In my experiment I am going to make a paper helicopter and improving it so it drops slower and I think this will benefit you because if a helicopter gets shot it will take longer to drop so it will make it easier for the pilot to escape and it will be more of a chance the pilot will survive. A link that would show a little bit of evidence is “BBC-GCSEBitesize:Fallingobjects.”
My independent variable is going to be adjusting the length of the wings and the dependent variable is the time it takes to fall. Hopefully the longer the wings will make the helicopter take longer to fall.
I hope you like my ideas and thanks for your time yours sincerely.
Jack Moxom
