I am trying to test how long it takes for the paper helicopter to drop to the floor using this equipment:
1000mm ruler – To make the experiment accurate.
Clamps – To hold the ruler.
Stopwatch – So the experiment is precise.
Paper Helicopter – the paper helicopter is used for testing how long it takes to get to the floor.
A Stand – This is to hold the clamps.
I will do this by getting the stand then putting clamps on it then attaching the ruler then get the helicopter dropping it while timing it with a stop watch.

The stand you refer to is called a retort stand or clamp stand and the fixing with scores is called a boss. The clamp is only the part that looks like a robot hand!
Is every stopwatch precise? Is an analogue clock as precise as a digital stopwatch? Is a digital stop watch to 0.1 seconds more or less precise than a 0.01second stop watch? Lets chat about what this means.
